Mount Redoubt and the Kenai

I have been very behind in adding posts to my blog. The cabins we stayed in in Seward had no Internet access even though they had advertised that they had it.

These are some pictures taken on our way to Seward.

This is Mount Redoubt volcano across Cook's Inlet from Kenai and Soldotna. It was very windy and cold on the inlet.
This was a very small one room quilt shop in Cooper Landing. Not much fabric, but very cute.

David over looking the Kenai river. What a beautiful river with some great lodges on the river. Sockeye salmon in the Kenai. The fish were so plentiful you could reach right in the water and pick them up. They were beautiful to see in the water. You can see why the Kenai is a major fishing destination.

The famous Kenai River.
