The Other Wild Woman

The Wild Women of Quilting, Sue and Karen minus the Harley.

Karen McTavish

These are a few of the quilts at MQS. This one is by Judy Woodworth "The Fragile World". I had a class with Judy and her work is wonderful.

This one is Autumn Leaves by Nancy Rink.

Another beauty and my new friend Barb.

Today was another great day of long arm classes in Overland Park, Ks. One class was with the famous feather queen Karen McTavish, the other Wild Woman. Her work is spectacular. She looks very nontraditional with her body tattooed with Victorian feathers, her dred-locks, and riding her Harley, but her work is beautiful and very traditional.

The quit show was great even though I didn't see all of the quilts, but here are a couple. There were all gorgeous.

David did some shopping and little Finnegan escaped from the motor home while we were having dinner inside. Luckily he didn't get far before we grabbed him. He is the most curious of all our kitties. No more fun for Finnegan. You just can't trust those guys.
