We decided to take the Pictured Rocks Cruise at 5PM so that me might see the rocks in a good late afternoon sun light. The boat was almost full and we only saw 3 or people wearing masks.
This is the oldest lighthouse in the area.
This is the view of Miner's Castle from the water.
One of the famous photos of the Picture Rocks National Lakeshore.
You can see how large it is based on the kayakers in the center of the arch.
This is Spray Falls
It was a very nice cruise that lasted over 2 hrs. It was very cool and extremely windy, but the views of Lake Superior were superb. Of course we had to check out the gift shop and get a couple of T shirts and we couldn't pass up the YOOPER BAR.
Turns out it was a milk chocolate bar with a design shaped like the UP. It was good though.
Love the pictures!!
