SLEEPIN BEAR DUNES Part 2

As we finished the Dune area we headed up M-22 towards Northport  at the end of the Leelanau Peninsula. It was about 38 miles away and we passed the small town of Leland on the way. We were starving after the day's ventures and had lunch at The Garage in Northport. I had a great mini slider pulled pork and David had a grilled ham and cheese that he said was excellent.

We took a different route home and had a nice quiet night with the kitties. Finnegan seems to be feeling poorly and I suspect his kidneys are a little worse. He probably needs some fluids. I have called 20 vets in Traverse City, around Empire area and even the UP where we are headed and no one will see him or work him in to their schedule. They just say NO. I can't believe all these vets would do this. There is an emergency vet in Traverse City that we are going to go to when we are on our way to St. Ignace.

For dinner we walked over to the food truck in the campground for a gourmet burger and some onion rings. The food was fantastic, much better than the burgers we had a Cherry Republic Public House.

Well, we still have deserts from the Cherry Republic to snack on for the remainder of our trip.
