ST. IGANCE HERE WE COME

We left Indigo Bluffs RV Park after a wonderful stay. Finnegan has kidney disease and we stopped in Traverse City at the emergency vet to get him some fluids. After 2 hrs. and $400 later we were on our way to St. Ignace. We had to cross Mackinaw Bridge to get there.

We could see the bridge in the distance.

Very impressive bridge and a bit scary going over it in a MH towing a car..

This Rt side view is towards the city side of St. Ignace where you can catch the ferry to Mackinaw Island.
The LT side is where our KOA campground is located.

After we checked in to the campground and got everything hooked up, gave the kitties something to eat we went out to get something for ourselves. We hadn't eaten since breakfast and we were starved.
There were a few restaurants that looked good and we decided to go to the Mackinac Grille. They were super busy as it was Saturday and they told us it would be a 45 minute wait. After 5 minutes they beeped us saying our table was ready. We both ordered the Fisherman's Platter and it was delicious. Everything was excellent including the service. Our table was on the water side, so we had a little bit of a view.

The next day, Sunday we spent just relaxing in the campground with nothing important to do. It was cool, but sunny and very nice. David and Finnegan took a nap together.

The sun was so nice outside that we went out to enjoy the sun shine. Only Nicholas decided to nap inside. Bentley couldn't wait to sit out in his stroller and sat in the sun for a long time. Finny came out in his bag and enjoyed the out doors.

It was a very nice relaxing day. No driving and no drama.
