Day 9 Continued

The Mexican Hat on Mexican Hat rock.
Almost there!!!     Bentley doesn't seem to be concerned with the 94 degree temps.

We arrived and went straight to the Goulding lodge dinning room for dinner. We hadn't eaten lunch and were starving. This is the view from the dinning room. The Navajo staff there were all very nice and the food quite good. We had Navajo Tacos for an appetizer and I had Pork Green Chili with Navajo fry bread. The tacos were made also on Navajo fry bread and were delicious.
The whole area in Gouldings is set against the red rocks. This is the dinning room. There is a campground, lodge, grocery, gas station, and nothing else. It is truly in the middle of no where.
