Day 17 A Lesurely Drive to Seattle

We only had to drive about 100 miles from Ferndakle to Bothell, WA which is in north Seattle. We went out to breakfast in Ferndale. It was a small town, local cafe which served portions that were much too large. We enjoyed it in spite of that and then took our time getting ready to drive to Bothell.

In Bothell we are staying at Lake Pleasant RV park. It's a very nice RV CG where the sites surround a lake, all part of a nature preserve. The lake is full of ducks and wild birds which Bentley is very much enjoying. We took a little walk around in his stroller and he hasn't stopped looking for those "quack, quacks". Each of the sites is divided by a tall evergreen hedge for privacy. Very nice.
We went to dinner at Grazie's Italian Restaurant which was excellent.

The kitties are all settled in for a nice quiet visit here. Hopefully if we aren't too busy seeing the sites they can spend some time outside enjoyed all the new smells.

Tomorrow we visit Pike Place Market.

  1. I'm glad you're settled down after all the traffic in a peaceful place - except Seattle is not THAT peaceful. I know you're enjoying the nice fresh air.
