We left Yosemite about 8:30 to drop off the rental car and head on to Barstow. It took about 2.5 hrs to get to the Merced Airport to return the car and did not arrive at the CG in Barstow until 6PM.
What a long, long day of driving and Barstow is in the middle of no where. Nothing today of interest to report. Tomorrow we head for the Grand Canyon CG.
That was truly a wonderful experience. I'd love to go there. It's so rare to find places that beautiful and so peaceful. I'm glad the boys got their share of entertainment. They'll want to travel forever - well Bentley already does. Thanks for sharing all the pictures. If we ever get to go to these places, we'll have a guide - except for camping part.
